Accountability
What you can check.

Stewardship
What happens to the money
Everything we hand over was bought with money somebody donated, and the members account for all of it.
- 01
How it reaches us
Businesses we approach, our own volunteers, and friends and family give what they can. Nothing reaches us through our phone line; donations arrive only through the bank details on our donate page.
- 02
How it is spent
Our members buy the food, clothing, medication and equipment themselves, and keep every receipt.
- 03
How it is checked
The Treasurer holds the receipts and accounts to the membership for what was spent.
- 04
How it is shown
Whoever paid for a visit is shown what it bought: the receipts, and photographs from the day.
We publish no figure for what we have raised or spent until the members have checked it. When we do, it will be here, with the same rule as everything else on this site: counted, not estimated.
